65 Laps at Wiscasset Speedway Net Another Top 10 for Coy Racing

The team headed back to Wiscasset Speedway this past Saturday. It was a NEMA Lites only and it was the big 65 lap race! The team unloaded and the car was decent, in fact the car was decent all day. Richie started 3rd in his heat race. He quickly jumped out to the lead and lead the first couple of laps. He was passed around halfway, but would come home 2nd. In the NEMA Lite division, the previous event winner must start 12th in the next event. Since Richie won at Waterford, he had to start 12th in the feature.

In the feature, Richie slowly made his way forward and ran most of the race battling with several drivers. In the end, Richie came home 9th.

This coming weekend, the guys are heading back to Star Speedway for the Jim O’Brian Memorial race.
