Coy Racing Gets Third 3rd of the Season

This past Saturday was the 50 lap Jim O’Brien Memorial at New-London Waterford Speedbowl.  The guys unloaded quick, but worked all day to tray and get more speed.

Richie started 3rd in the heat race and finished 2nd, which put him comfortably in the handicap for the feature.

The feature lineup put Richie in 5th at the start.  On the start Richie raced hard and fought his way forward.  He was able to grab 2nd by halfway.  The races only yellow came out on lap 26.  On the restart Richie slipped back to 3rd, but maintained 3rd all the way to the checkered flag.  This was Richie’s third 3rd place finish in the last 4 races!

With the last few race finishes, Richie and the team has moved up to 5th place in the point standings!  Great job guys!
