Change of Venue Leads to Another Top 10 for Coy Racing

At 7:30pm on last Friday Waterford Speedbowl announced that they were cancelling Saturday’s race.  The NEMA officers did a great job and worked out a deal to race at Monadnock Speedway instead.

So, the guys changed the gear and headed to New Hampshire!  The car unloaded fast as Richie was P1 in practice.  The heat race had Richie lined up 5th and went on to finish 4th.

Once again the handicapping lined Richie up 8th in the feature.  The team missed with the stagger and the car was super tight in the feature but Richie managed to move up to 6th by the end of the caution free race.

Fortunately, the news dropped this week that Waterford Speedbowl will be open for business for the rest of the season!  It would have been a shame to lose such a great track.

This week is the Iron Mike Memorial at Monadnock Speedway!

A couple weeks ago NEMA took the action to Star Speedway for the Marvin Rifchin Memorial Race. In the NEMA series Jim Chambers took home the checkers, and Avery Stoehr in the Lites.
